Panic Troubles? Solve Them Here!
Hello, I am Kyle. I guess NOW I am just a regular, normal guy but this
was not the case for a long time. You see, in the past I suffered from generalized anxiety
disorders. I know how it felt to be
in a train station and hold on to what knows what to avoid being sucked
by a weird force
(or thoughts?) that invited me to jump to the railways. Today, I do not
have those
kind of thoughts anymore ...
If you suffer from

A panic attack is a frightening wave of fear that appears suddenly, abruptly and without apparent reason; women are most affected, by a ratio of 2-1; its origin is related to depression and stress as well as with the lack of certain neurotransmitter substances in the brain. If you want to overcome panic attacks, you need to know this.
Society
They do not care if you are not able to overcome panic attacks. They just want results and they don’t want to be disturbed by your problems. Our society provides principles for everything and, in the case of fear, it is not an exception; for example, it is normal to
be frightened by assault or theft, fire or earthquake, that is, situations where a tangible cause is seen or perceived.
It is not seen as normal when someone is afraid to enter an elevator or get into an airplane, that is, it seems incomprehensible that a man fears to cross a bridge or that a person who drives his car perfectly in the city is unable to do so on the highway.
However, we must understand that such people are unable to overcome these events (overcome panic attacks) and that, far from judging them harshly, we should understand them and recommend them to seek professional help (a psychiatrist, perhaps). Thus, it is useful to know that according to the criteria for diagnosing mental disorders (American Psychiatric Association), a panic attack is the emergence of discrete periods of intense fear or physical unrest that starts abruptly and reaches its peak during the first 10 minutes, and is accompanied by four or more of the following symptoms:
• Palpitations or accelerated heart rate.
• Sweating.
• Trembling.
• Choking sensation or shortness of breath.
• Perception that an object obstructs the throat.
• Chest tightness or discomfort.
• Nausea or abdominal discomfort.
• Instability, dizziness or fainting.
• To think that what happens is unreal.
• Fear of losing control, going crazy or being afraid to die.
• Numbness or tingling (paresthesias).
• Chills or hot flushes.
Fear for no apparent reason
Typically, these attacks occur spontaneously at any time, even during sleep, and since you can not predict when they will show up, overcome panic attacks is not an easy task to implement. Furthermore, many people live in a state of continuous concern, fearing that they may suffer another attack at any time.
Most of these episodes last only a few minutes (10, if prolonged), and in rare cases, up to an hour. But whatever the case, to the patient this period seems an eternity.
But sometimes the symptoms of emotional breakdown suggest to the person that his life is in danger, insomuch that he believes he is having a heart attack, suffering a respiratory or gastrointestinal problem, or a neurological disorder, in other words, the person is afraid of losing control or becoming psychotic.
It is also common that the patient reveals intense anxiety between each of the episodes, so it is not surprising that they develop phobias about places where these attacks happened, such as supermarkets, petrol stations and aircrafts among others. Thus making it very difficult to even start to overcome panic attacks.
